Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness: Giving thanks unto the Father, who hath made us meet to partake of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Therefore we faint not, but even though the outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh out for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory:

And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the strength of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I am well pleased in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
