But Peter said, Ananias, wherefore hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and keep back a part from the price of the land?

And Peter meditating concerning the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, men are seeking thee; but rising up, come down, and go with them, doubting nothing: because I have sent them. And Peter having come down to the men, said, Behold, I am he whom you are seeking: what is the cause on account of which you are present?

of how much more terrible punishment, do you think, the one having trodden under foot the Son of God, and counted the blood of the covenant, by which he was sanctified, common, and insulted the Spirit of grace; be counted worthy!
