And whoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor.

Jesus saith to him, If I will that he shall tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me.
