And the pride of Israel testifies to his face. Yet they have not returned to LORD their God, nor sought him for all this.

Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers, ye also.

Shall his recompense be as thou desire, that thou refuse it? For thou must choose, and not I. Therefore speak what thou know.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil-doers, sons who deal corruptly! They have forsaken LORD. They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They have gone away backward.

Thy habitation is in the midst of deceit. Through deceit they refuse to know me, says LORD.

They shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be their king, because they refused to return [to me].

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them. Because when I called, none answered. When I spoke, they did not hear. But they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I did not delight

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear. Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which LORD of hosts had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from LORD of hosts.

Notwithstanding, they would not hear, but stiffened their neck, like the neck of their fathers who did not believed in LORD their God.

Be ye not as your fathers, to whom the former prophets cried, saying, Thus says LORD of hosts: Return ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings, but they did not hear, nor hearken to me, says LORD.

Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt to this day, I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them. Yet they hearkened not to me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff. They did worse than their fathers.

For I earnestly protested to your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice. Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked each one in the stubbornness of his evil heart. Therefore I brought upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did them not.

This evil people, who refuse to hear my words, who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, and have gone after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this sash, which is good for nothing.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, and might not receive instruction.

From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty-three years, the word of LORD has come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking. But ye have not hearkened. And LORD has sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, (but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear),

And they have turned the back to me, and not the face. And though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

However I sent all my servants the prophets to you, rising up early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not do this abominable thing that I hate. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense to other gods.

And LORD said to Moses, How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have wrought among them?
