So is the lazy one to those who send him.

He who gives attention to the word will find good,
And blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.

A foolish son is destruction to his father,
And the contentions of a wife are a constant dripping.

And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me legal protection from my opponent.’ For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man,read more.
yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’”

It came about when she pressed him daily with her words and urged him, that his soul was annoyed to death.

“Let my soul not enter into their council;
Let not my glory be united with their assembly;

And in their self-will they lamed oxen.
