Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.

Wherefore, whoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Examine yourselves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye are reprobates?

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemneth us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart doth not condemn us, then have we confidence towards God.
