In a multitude of people is a king’s glory,But in the dearth of people is a prince’s ruin.
The king is not saved by a mighty army;A warrior is not delivered by great strength.
With kings and with counselors of the earth,Who rebuilt ruins for themselves;
Under a slave when he becomes king,And a fool when he is satisfied with food,
For he has come out of prison to become king, even though he was born poor in his kingdom.
“All the kings of the nations lie in glory,Each in his own tomb.
“He looks on everything that is high;He is king over all the sons of pride.”
