but he was rebuked for his offense; a dumb animal spoke with a human voice and checked the prophet's madness.

But some of them said, "It is with the aid of Beelzebub, the prince of the demons, that he drives the demons out."
As he said this in his defense, Festus called out, "You are raving, Paul! Your great learning is driving you mad!" "I am not raving, your Excellency Festus," said Paul, "I am telling the sober truth.
For if I was out of my senses, as they say, it was between God and me; and if I am in my right mind, it is for your good.
