Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness; and he was called the friend of God. Ye see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. and that He might reconcile both in one body unto God, by the cross, having thereby slain the enmity:
For it pleased the Father, that all fulness should dwell in Him; and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace by the blood of his cross; by Him only, whether they be things on earth, or things in heaven.
