14 Bible Verses about Man Defending

Even a spirit of justice - to him that presideth over justice, And strength to them who would turn back the battle at the gate.

Open thy mouth - judge righteously, - and administer justice for the poor and the needy.

Did he not plead the cause of the oppressed and the needy, And, then, it was well? Was not, that, to know, me? Demandeth Yahweh.

unto whom made answer - That it is not a custom with Romans, to grant as a favour any man, before the accused, face to face, should have his accusers, and, opportunity of defence, should receive, concerning the charge.

And, Agrippa, to Paul, said - It is permitted thee, on thine own behalf, to be speaking. Then Paul, stretching forth his hand, went on to make his defence.
