Matthew 8:5-13

Luke 5:4-6

When he finished speaking he asked Simon to put into deep water and let down the nets for a catch. Simon answered, Master we worked all night and caught nothing. At your word I will let down the nets. When they did this they caught a large number of fish and their nets were breaking.

John 21:6

He said: Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find fish. They cast it and they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Matthew 8:28-32

When he arrived at the other side of the lake in the country of the Gadarenes two men possessed by demons came to him from out of the tombs. They were extremely violent, so no man could pass by that way. They screamed at him, saying: What have we to do with you, Son of God? Have you come to torment us before the time? Jesus went to Peter's house. He saw his wife's mother lying sick of a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her. She arose, and ministered to him.

Mark 2:3-12

Men came to him carrying a paralyzed man. They could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd. So they removed the roof over the place where Jesus was. Some of the scribes sitting there reasoned in their hearts: Why does this man speak this way? He blasphemes for only God is the one who can forgive sins. Jesus immediately discerned in his spirit that they reasoned within themselves. He asked them: Why reason these things in your hearts? Which is easier to say to the sick man your sins are forgiven or take your bed and walk? So you may see that the Son of man has authority to forgive sins on earth, he said to the man: Get up and take your bed, and go to your house. He got up, took the bed and went out before them all. They were all filled with wonder. They gave glory to God and said we have never seen anything like this.

Matthew 12:10-13

There he saw a man who had a withered hand. They asked him if it is lawful to heal on the Sabbath day? They wanted to accuse him. He said to them: Which of you having one sheep, if this sheep fell into a pit on the Sabbath day, will not get it and lift it out. How much more value is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day!read more.

After she said this she went away and secretly called her sister Mary. She said: The teacher is here and calls you. Mary got up quickly and went to him. (Now Jesus had not yet arrived at the village and was still at the place where Martha met him.) The Jews were with her in the house, consoling her. They saw Mary get up quickly and leave. So they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there. When Mary saw Jesus she fell down at his feet. She said: Lord; if you had been here my brother would not have died. Jesus groaned in his spirit and was troubled when he saw her weeping and the Jews who came with her weeping. He asked: Where have you laid him? They answered: Come and see Lord. Jesus wept. The Jews therefore said: Look how deeply he loved him! Some of them said: This man opened the eyes of the blind. Could he have prevented this man from dying? Again Jesus groaned in himself. He went to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid against it. Jesus said: Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the dead man said: Lord by now the body has decayed for he has been dead four days. Jesus said to her: Did I not say that if you believe you shall see the glory of God? So they took away the stone. Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said: Father, I thank you that you hear me. I knew that you always hear me. But because of the crowd that stands here I said it, that they may believe that you did send me. After he finished he cried out loud: Lazarus, come out! He that was dead came out. He was bound hand and foot with grave-clothes and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus commanded them: Unwrap him and let him go.

Matthew 9:20-22

A woman who had a hemorrhage (chronic flow of blood) for twelve years came behind him. She touched the border of his garment. She said to herself: If I touch his garment, I will be healed. Jesus turned to see her and said: Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well. The woman was healed at that time.

Matthew 9:27

Jesus left that place and walked along the road. Two blind men followed him. They shouted: Have mercy on us, Son of David!

Mark 8:22-25

They arrived at Bethsaida. A blind man was brought to him with the request to touch him. He held the blind man's hand and led him out of the village. Then he spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him. He asked him: Do you see? He answered: I see men. They look like trees walking.read more.

Jesus took him aside from the crowd privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue. Matthew 14:15-21

Evening came and the disciples approached Jesus and said: This place is desolate. Send the people away so they may go to the villages and buy themselves food. Jesus told them: They have no need to go away: you feed them. They remarked: We have only five loaves, and two fishes.read more.
Bring them to me, Jesus replied. He commanded the crowd to sit down on the grass. Then he prayed. He gave the five loaves and two fishes to the disciples to distribute to the crowd. And they all had plenty to eat. In fact they had twelve baskets full of food left over. About five thousand men, plus women and children ate.

Matthew 15:32-38

Jesus called his disciples and said: I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way. The disciples replied: Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd? Jesus asked: How many loaves do you have? They said: Seven, and a few small fish.read more.
He told the people to sit down on the ground. He took the seven loaves and the fish and offered a prayer of thanksgiving. Then he broke them and gave them to the disciples. The disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. When they picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, there were seven large baskets full. Four thousand men, besides women and children were fed.

Matthew 14:25-27

Just before morning, Jesus walked to them on the water. When they saw him walking on the water they were troubled. It is a spirit (apparition) (illusion)! they screamed! They cried out with fear. At once Jesus said: It is I; do not be afraid.

He said: Come. Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.

John 6:21

They eagerly brought him into the boat. The boat soon arrived at the land where they were going.

Matthew 17:27

We will not cause them trouble. Go to the sea, and let down a hook, and take the first fish you catch. You will see money (a stater coin) in its mouth. Give it to them for me and for you.

Luke 13:11-13

A woman had an evil spirit that kept her sick for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not stand straight. Jesus called to her: Woman you are free from your sickness! He touched her and at once she stood straight up and praised God.

Luke 14:2-4

There was in his presence a man who had the dropsy (swollen arms and legs). Jesus spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees: Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not? They did not speak. So he held the man and healed him and let him go.

Matthew 21:19

He saw a fig tree along the side of the road. He went to it and saw nothing on it but leaves. He told it: You will not bare fruit from this time forward, forever. Immediately the fig tree became dry and dead.

Luke 22:50-51

One of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. Jesus said: Do not do any more of this. Then he touched his ear and healed him.

Luke 7:21-22

In that hour he cured many diseases, plagues and evil spirits. Sight was restored to the blind. He answered John's disciples: Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard. The blind receive their sight! The lame walk and lepers are cleansed. The deaf hear! The dead are raised up and the poor have good news preached to them.

Jesus walked all over Galilee teaching in the synagogues. He preached the Good News about the Kingdom. He also healed every kind of disease and infirmity among the people. News about him spread throughout the country of Syria. People sick and suffering from diseases, people with demons, epileptics and paralytics, came to him. Jesus healed them all.

Matthew 15:30

Many people came to him. They brought those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and many other people. They laid them down at his feet and he healed them.

Mark 1:34

Jesus healed many who were sick with various diseases. He cast out many demons. Knowing them he would not permit the demons to speak.

Luke 6:17-19

He came down with them, and stood on a level place. A great crowd of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem came to hear him. Others from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those who were troubled with unclean spirits were healed. The crowd tried to touch him for power came forth from him and healed them all.

Luke 24:6

He is not here. He has arisen! Remember how he spoke to you when he was yet in Galilee.

John 10:18

No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down voluntarily. I have authority (jurisdiction) (right) to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment from my Father.

It was evening of the first day of the week. The disciples shut the doors where they stayed for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: May you have Peace.
