12 Bible Verses about No Food

For also when we were with you, this we commanded you: If any one will not work, neither let him eat.

for a friend of mine hath come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him?

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my fathers have bread enough and to spare, and I perish here with hunger!

And they had no wine, because the wine of the feast had failed. Then the mother of Jesus saith to him, There is no wine.

Philip answered him, Two hundred denaries worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that each one may take a tittle.

Now there came a famine over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and great distress; and our fathers found no Sustenance.

And the disciples having come to the other side, had forgotten to take bread.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we took no bread.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread. And knowing it, he saith to them, Why are ye reasoning, because ye have no bread? Do ye not yet perceive nor understand? Have ye your mind still blinded?

In those days, there being again a great multitude, and they having nothing to eat, he called the disciples to him, and saith to them,

I have compassion on the multitude, because they have remained with me now three days, and they have nothing to eat.
