I had many things to write unto you, nevertheless I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak with you mouth to mouth, that our joy may be full.

And many other signs did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.

Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my lord. Wherefore I have brought him unto you, and especially unto thee, king Agrippa, that after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.
