And God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.

He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry.

These all look to you, to give them their food in due season.

he who gives food to all flesh, for his steadfast love endures forever.

"Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food"--and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.

"And you, take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and emmer, and put them into a single vessel and make your bread from them. During the number of days that you lie on your side, days, you shall eat it.

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
