10 Bible Verses about Obeying Jesus

Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and dwell with him.

Then Jesus said to those Jews who had believed him, If ye abide in my word, ye shall be my disciples indeed;

He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and dwell with him. He that does not love me does not keep my words, and the word which ye have heard is not mine, but of the Father who sent me.

If ye love me, keep my commandments;

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his soul for his friends. Ye are my friends if ye do whatsoever I command you. From now on I do not call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his lord does; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

And in this we do know that we have known him if we keep his commandments.

and whatsoever we ask, we receive of him because we keep his commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

And he that keeps his commandments dwells in him, and he in him. And in this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.

For this is the charity of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.
