The tongue of the just is as choice silver, but the understanding of the wicked is worth little. The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of wisdom. The blessing of the LORD is that which makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. To make an abomination is as sport to the fool, but wisdom is recreation to the man of intelligence. The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him, but God shall grant the desire of the righteous. When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is founded for ever. As vinegar to the teeth and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those that send him. The fear of the LORD shall prolong days, but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. The hope of the righteous is joy, but the hope of the wicked shall perish. The way of the LORD is strength to the perfect, but it is terror to the workers of iniquity. The righteous eternally shall never be removed, but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. The mouth of the just shall bring forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue shall be cut out.

Ye have heard that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not commit murder, and whosoever shall commit murder shall be guilty of the judgment; but I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother out of control shall be in danger of the judgment, and whosoever shall insult his brother shall be in danger of the council, but whosoever shall say, Thou art impious, shall be in danger of hell. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that thy brother has something against thee;read more.
leave thy gift there before the altar, and go; first restore friendship with thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

For by the deeds of the law, no flesh shall be justified in his sight; for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Let the word of the Christ dwell in you in abundance in all wisdom, teaching you and exhorting you one to another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with grace singing in your hearts unto the Lord.

Likewise also reckon yourselves to be truly dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ, Jesus, our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither present your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but present yourselves unto God as those that are alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.read more.

If ye then are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where the Christ sits at the right hand of God.

Ye are all the sons of light, and the sons of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For those that sleep in the night, and those that are drunken are drunken in the night.read more.
