You are to pay attention to the words of my servants, the prophets, whom I kept sending to you. You have never obeyed what they said.
They heard the sound of the horn but ignored its warning. In that case they are responsible for their own deaths. If they had taken the warning they would have saved themselves.
If your brother does wrong to you, go to him in private. Clearly explain his error between you and him. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother back.
He who refuses instruction (discipline) despises his own life. But he who listens to reproof understands.
Whether these rebellious people listen or not, they will realize that a prophet has been among them.
Speak my words to them whether they listen or not, because they are rebellious.
