But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. The wretches gathered themselves together against me, and I knew [it] not. They tore me, and ceased not.
They also gave me gall for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
As he who takes off a garment in cold weather, [and] vinegar upon soda, so [is] he who sings songs to a heavy heart.
