For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, (as there are many gods and many lords) Yet to us there is but one God,

What say I then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is any thing? or that an idol is any thing? But that what the heathens sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God. Now I would not that ye should be partakers with devils.
