And His disciples followed Him, as He entered into a boat. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but He was sleeping. And, coming to Him, they awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save; we are perishing!"read more.
And He saith to them, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then, having arisen, He rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. And the men wondered, saying, "What manner of Man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!"

And on that day, when evening came, He saith to them, "Let us go across to the other side." And, leaving the multitude, they take Him with them, as He was, in the boat. And other boats were with Him. And there arises a great storm of wind, and the waves were beating into the boat, so that the boat was now being filled.read more.
And He Himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion; and they awake Him, and say to Him, "Teacher, is it no concern to Thee that we perish?" And, having been roused up, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said to them, "Why are ye fearful? Have ye not yet faith?" And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, "Who, then, is This, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"

Now it came to pass on one of the days, that both He and His disciples entered into a boat; and He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." And they set forth. But, as they were sailing, He fell asleep. And there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were being filled full of water, and were in peril. And, coming near, they awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we perish!" And, having arisen, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and it became calm.read more.
And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And, struck with fear, they marvelled, saying one to another, "Who, then, is This, that He commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!"

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head have all been numbered.

and He made of one every nation of men to dwell upon all the face of the earth, having marked out their appointed seasons, and the bounds of their habitation;

You will say to me, then, "Why doth He still find fault? for who has withstood His will?" Nay but, O man, who are you that reply against God ? Shall the thing formed say to Him Who formed it, "Why didst Thou make me thus?" Or has not the potter a right over the clay, out of the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?

concerning which salvation the prophets earnestly sought and diligently searched, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you; searching as to what time or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ Who was in them was pointing to, when testifying beforehand the sufferings destined for Christ, and the subsequent glories; to whom it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they were ministering them; which things now were reported to you through those who proclaimed the Gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from Heaven; into which things angels desire to look carefully.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come. And it shall be, that every one who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.' "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus, the Nazarene, a man accredited from God to you by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did through Him in the midst of you, even as ye yourselves know; This Man, delivered up by the settled counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye, having fastened to the cross, through the hand of lawless ones, did slay: Whom God raised up, having loosed the pangs of death; because it was not possible that He should be held by it. For David says concerning Him, 'I beheld the Lord in my presence continually; because He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.

Moses, indeed, said, 'A prophet will the Lord your God raise up for you from among your brethren, as He did me; to Him shall ye hearken in all things, whatsoever He shall say to you. And it shall be, that every soul that will not hearken to that Prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.' And also all the prophets from Samuel and those in succession, as many as spake, also foretold these days.read more.
Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your Seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.'

For those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their rulers, not knowing Him, nor the voices of the prophets which are being read every sabbath, fulfilled them, in having condemned Him; and, though finding not one cause of death, they asked of Pilate that He should be slain. but God thus fulfilled what He before announced through the mouth of all His prophets, that His Christ should suffer.

But, when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under law, that He might redeem those under law, that, we might receive the adoption of sons.
