Jesus answered, “Leave her alone; she has kept it for the day of My burial.
By pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she has prepared Me for burial.
They took 40 days to complete this, for embalming takes that long, and the Egyptians mourned for him 70 days.

Stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying there, yet he did not go in. Then, following him, Simon Peter came also. He entered the tomb and saw the linen cloths lying there. The wrapping that had been on His head was not lying with the linen cloths but was folded up in a separate place by itself.
She has done what she could; she has anointed My body in advance for burial.
I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you back. Joseph will put his hands on your eyes.”
My spirit is broken.
