And they made ready the present for Joseph's coming at noon: for they heard that they should eat bread there.

Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where will you that we prepare for you to eat the passover? And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Teacher says, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at your house with my disciples. And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where will you that we go and prepare that you may eat the passover? And he sent forth two of his disciples, and said unto them, Go into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. And wherever he shall go in, say to the owner of the house, The Master says, Where is the guest room, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?read more.
And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. And they said unto him, Where will you that we prepare? And he said unto them, Behold, when you are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he enters in.read more.

And now when the evening was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,

And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath was coming on.

The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was a high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulcher was near at hand.

And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he said unto the Jews, Behold your King!

Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

But God said unto him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have prepared?

And will not rather say unto him, Make ready that I may eat, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you shall eat and drink?

Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you provisions; for within three days you shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God gives you to possess it.

Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them who are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

Then said he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were bidden were not worthy.

And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
