10 Bible Verses about Unworthiness

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said, If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could say unto this sycamine tree, Be plucked up by the root, and be planted in the sea; and it would obey you. But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to eat?read more.
And will not rather say unto him, Make ready that I may eat, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you shall eat and drink? Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. So likewise you, when you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Then said he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were bidden were not worthy.

Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire:

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Peter said unto him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash you not, you have no part with me.

For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
