But having gifts differing according to the grace given unto us, whether prophecy, it is according to the analogy of faith;
And he gave some, apostles; some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
If I may speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not divine love, I have become a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, and have not divine love, I am nothing.
Then what is it, brethren? When you may come together, each one has a psalm, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done to edification.
