20 Bible Verses about Rebellion, Against Human Authority

All these joined forces at the valley of Siddim (that [is], the sea of the salt). Twelve years they had served Kedorlaomer, but in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

Be attentive to him and listen to his voice; do not rebel against him, because he will not forgive your transgression, for my name is in him

And the people quarreled with Moses and spoke, saying, "If only we died when our brothers were dying {before} Yahweh! Why have you brought the assembly of Yahweh, us and our livestock, into this desert to die here?read more.
Why have you brought us from Egypt to bring us to this bad place? It is not a place of seed or figs or vines or pomegranate trees, and there is not water to drink."

Whoever {rebels against your orders} and does not obey your words according to what you commanded us will be put to death. Only be strong and courageous."

So then, the one who resists authority resists the ordinance [which is] from God, and those who resist will receive condemnation on themselves.
