And Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kindred, and in his own house. And he could do no miracle there, save that he laid his hands on a few sick and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about thro' the villages teaching.

Many of his disciples hearing it, said, This is an hard saying: who can hear it? Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured about this, said to them, Doth this offend you?
The Jews then murmured about him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then saith he, I came down from heaven? Jesus answered and said to them, Murmur not among yourselves.
