God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake of old to the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son;

For prophecy never came by the will of man, but the holy men of God spake being moved by the Holy Ghost.

But God hath thus fulfilled the things which he foretold by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer.

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God, Which he had promised before, by his prophets in the holy scriptures,

who prophesied of the grace of God toward you. Searching what, and what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them signified, when he testified before hand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that should follow. To whom it was revealed, that not for themselves, but for us they ministered the things which have been now declared to you by them that have preached the gospel to you, with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven: which things angels desire to look into.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall sound, the mystery of God shall be fulfilled, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
