Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
"A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me."
So some of his disciples said to one another, "What is this that he says to us, 'A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me'; and, 'because I am going to the Father'?"
Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, "Is this what you are asking yourselves, what I meant by saying, 'A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me'?
Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you."
Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me."
But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you."
Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus.
Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord"--and that he had said these things to her.
But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.
Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen.
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe."
Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and declared to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus.
And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
