This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."

so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.
