8 Bible Verses about Spiritual Hunger

as new-born babes, earnestly desire the pure spiritual milk, that you may grow by it,

Bless ed are they that hunger and thirst for righteousness; for they shall be filled.

For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven, and gives life for the world. Then they said to him: Lord, evermore give us this bread. Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life; he that comes to me shall never hunger; he that believes on me shall never thirst.

Jesus answered and said to her: "Whoever drinks of this water, will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him, shall never thirst. But the water that I will give him, shall be in him a fountain of water springing up in order to eternal life.

Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life; he that comes to me shall never hunger; he that believes on me shall never thirst.

On the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying: If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink.

And he said to me: It is done; I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him that thirsts, I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him that hears, say, Come; and let him that is thirsty, come; -and let him that is willing, take the water of life freely.
