21 Bible Verses about The Lord Will Drive Them Out

Observe that which I command you this day. Behold! I drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

to cast out all your enemies from before you, as Jehovah has spoken.

When Jehovah your God shall bring you into the land where you go to possess it, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you,

Therefore, understand today that Jehovah your God is He who goes over before you. Like a consuming fire, He shall destroy them, and He shall bring them down before your face. So you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as Jehovah has said to you. Do not speak in your heart, after Jehovah your God has cast them out from before you, saying: For my righteousness, Jehovah has brought me in to possess this land. But for the wickedness of these nations, Jehovah your God drives them out from before you. Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, do you go to possess their land. But for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah your God drives them out from before you, so that He may perform the Word which Jehovah swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

then Jehovah will drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall possess greater and mightier nations than you.

And I will send an Angel before you. And I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite;

For I will cast out the nations before you and enlarge your borders. Neither shall any man desire your land when you shall go up to appear before Jehovah your God three times in the year.

all the inhabitants from the hills; from Lebanon to the Burning Waters, and all the Sidonians; I will expel them before the sons of Israel. Only you divide it by lot to the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.

And Jehovah your God shall put them out from before you, and drive them out of your sight. And you shall possess their land, as Jehovah your God has promised to you.

And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite before you.

For they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land, and that I should drive you out and you should perish.

Do not defile yourselves in any of these things. For in all these the nations are defiled, which I cast out before you.

As smoke is driven away, You drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, let the wicked perish in the presence of God.

And Jehovah your God will put out those nations before you by little and little. You may not destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon you.

Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, do you go to possess their land. But for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah your God drives them out from before you, so that He may perform the Word which Jehovah swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

For all that do these things are an abomination to Jehovah. And because of these abominations Jehovah your God drives them out from before you.

in order to drive out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.

For Jehovah has driven out from before you great and strong nations. But as for you, no one has been able to stand before you to this day.

and all of you will go armed over Jordan before Jehovah until He has driven out His enemies from before Him,

I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become a waste, and the beast of the field multiply against you.

By little and little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and inherit the land.
