And a woman who had been in a flux twelve years, and had suffered a great deal from many physicians, and spent all that she had, and received no benefit, but rather grew worse, when she heard of Jesus, came behind Him in the croud, and touched his garment; for she said, If I can but touch his clothes, I shall be cured. And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt within herself that she was healed of the disorder. And they were all weeping and bewailing her: but He said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed at Him, knowing that she was dead. But He turned them all out, and taking hold of her hand, called to her, saying, Child, arise. And her spirit returned, and immediately she stood up: and He ordered something to be given her to eat.
And He came up and touched the bier, (and the bearers stopped,) and He said, Young man, I say unto thee, arise.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, Rise up and be not afraid.
And they brought to Him little children that He might touch them: and the disciples rebuked those that brought them.
