And He said to them, "Wheresoever ye enter into a house, there abide, till ye depart thence.

And, as they were journeying through the cities, they were delivering to them the decrees to keep, that had been ordained by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem.

saying, "There was in a city a judge, who feared not God, nor regarded man. And there was a widow in that city; and she kept coming to him, saying, 'Avenge me of my adversary.'

And all were going to be enrolled, each to his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David;

And, coming into His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Whence hath this Man this wisdom, and the mighty works?

And He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee; and He was teaching them on the sabbath;

And it came to pass soon afterwards, that He was passing through by city and village, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God; and the twelve were with Him;

He cometh, therefore, to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near to the piece of land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph;

Therefore, behold, I send to you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them ye will kill and crucify, and some ye will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;

"And into whatsoever city or village ye enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide till ye go forth.
