and He was transfigured before them; and His face shone as the sun, and His garments became white as the light.

And it came to pass, as He was praying, that the appearance of His countenance was altered, and His raiment became white and dazzling.

but each in his own rank; Christ, the First-fruit; then those who are Christ's at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivereth up the Kingdom to God, even His Father; when He shall abolish all rule and all authority and power; for He must reign, till He hath put all the enemies under His feet. As the last enemy, death is abolished; for He put all things in subjection under His feet. But, when He saith, "All things have been put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted, Who subjected all things to Him. And, when all things shall be subjected to Him, then will the Son also Himself be subjected to Him Who subjected all things to Him, that God may be all in all.

And His head and hair were white as white wool, as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; and His feet like burnished brass, as if glowing in a furnace; and His voice as the voice of many waters;

And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it He may smite the nations, and He will govern them with a rod of iron; and He treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them; and judgment was given to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God; and such as worshiped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection. Happy and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
