13 Bible Verses about Water Irrigation

I constructed reservoirs of water for myself from which to irrigate a grove of flourishing trees.

But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.

I will provide rain for your land in the proper time, the autumn and spring rains, and you will harvest your grain, new wine, and oil.

Look, I am about to do something new;
even now it is coming. Do you not see it?
Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness,
rivers in the desert.
The animals of the field will honor Me,
jackals and ostriches,
because I provide water in the wilderness,

For the land you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated by hand as in a vegetable garden.

These are the records of the heavens and the earth, concerning their creation at the time that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. No shrub of the field had yet grown on the land, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not made it rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground. But water would come out of the ground and water the entire surface of the land.

A river went out from Eden to water the garden. From there it divided and became the source of four rivers.

This same Hezekiah blocked the outlet of the water of the Upper Gihon and channeled it smoothly downward and westward to the city of David. Hezekiah succeeded in everything he did.

You visit the earth and water it abundantly,
enriching it greatly.

He directs it wherever He chooses.

They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion;
they will be radiant with joy
because of the Lord’s goodness,
because of the grain, the new wine, the fresh oil,
and because of the young of the flocks and herds.
Their life will be like an irrigated garden,
and they will no longer grow weak from hunger.
