He who sings songs to a heavy heart is like him who lays off a garment in cold weather and like vinegar upon soda.

Saying, These [men] who came last worked no more than an hour, and yet you have made them rank with us who have borne the burden and the scorching heat of the day.
Now the servants and the guards (the attendants) had made a fire of coals, for it was cold, and they were standing and warming themselves. And Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.
And when the ship was caught and was unable to head against the wind, we gave up and, letting her drift, were borne along.
