Again he was aware of a voice which said-- "What God has pronounced 'clean', do not regard as 'defiled'." This happened three times, and then suddenly it was all taken up into the heavens.
"I was in the town of Jaffa," he said, "and was praying; and, while in a trance, I saw a vision. There was something like a great sail descending, let down by its four corners out of the heavens; and it came right down to me.

On this they left the tomb quickly, in awe and great joy, and ran to tell the news to the disciples.
There his appearance was transformed before their eyes; his face shown like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.
When he came out, he was unable to speak to them, and they perceived that he had seen a vision there. But Zechariah kept making signs to them, and remained dumb.
It is what Scripture speaks of as-'What eye never saw, nor ear ever heard, what never entered the mind of man-even all that God has prepared for those who love him.' Yet to us God revealed it through his Spirit; for the Spirit fathoms all things, even the inmost depths of God's being.
