'Act' in the Bible

Alas, sinful nation,People weighed down with iniquity,Offspring of evildoers,Sons who act corruptly!They have abandoned the Lord,They have despised the Holy One of Israel,They have turned away from Him.

“Even from eternity I am He,And there is none who can deliver out of My hand;I act and who can reverse it?”

“For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act;For how can My name be profaned?And My glory I will not give to another.

Their webs will not become clothing,Nor will they cover themselves with their works;Their works are works of iniquity,And an act of violence is in their hands.

Thus says the Lord,“As the new wine is found in the cluster,And one says, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is benefit in it,’So I will act on behalf of My servantsIn order not to destroy all of them.
