'Anything' in the Bible
And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.
But Peter said, “By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean.”
nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things;
But if you want anything beyond this, it shall be settled in the lawful assembly.
how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly and from house to house,
who ought to have been present before you and to make accusation, if they should have anything against me.
“Therefore,” he *said, “let the influential men among you go there with me, and if there is anything wrong about the man, let them prosecute him.”
If, then, I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything worthy of death, I do not refuse to die; but if none of those things is true of which these men accuse me, no one can hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar.”
and when they had gone aside, they began talking to one another, saying, “This man is not doing anything worthy of death or imprisonment.”
They said to him, “We have neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor have any of the brethren come here and reported or spoken anything bad about you.
