'Appetite' in the Bible

The Lord satisfies the appetite of the righteous, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.

From the words of his mouth,a man will enjoy good things,but treacherous people have an appetite for violence.

The appetite of the sluggard craves but gets nothing, but the desire of the diligent will be abundantly satisfied.

The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite,But the stomach of the wicked is in need.

A worker’s appetite works for himbecause his hunger urges him on.

The appetite of the wicked desires evil; his neighbor is shown no favor in his eyes.

And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.

The one whose appetite is satisfied loathes honey, but to the hungry mouth every bitter thing is sweet.
