'Bandit' in the Bible

and your poverty will come on you like a bandit and your desperation like an armed man.

Surely she lies in wait like a bandit, increasing those who are faithless among mankind.

Then your poverty will come upon you like a robber, your need like an armed bandit.

"Truly, I tell all of you emphatically, the person who doesn't enter the sheepfold through the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a bandit.
