'Binds' in the Bible

“Also if a woman makes a vow to the Lord, and binds herself by an obligation in her father’s house in her youth,

“He loosens the bond of kingsAnd binds their loins with a girdle.

“By a great force my garment is distorted;It binds me about as the collar of my coat.

“But the godless in heart lay up anger;They do not cry for help when He binds them.

He heals the brokenheartedAnd binds up their wounds.

Like one who binds a stone in a sling,So is he who gives honor to a fool.

The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the Lord binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted.

Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

But no one can enter the strong man’s house and plunder his property unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house.
