'Broken hearted' in the Bible

To give decision for the child without a father and for the broken-hearted, so that the man of the earth may no longer be feared.

The Lord is near the brokenhearted;He saves those crushed in spirit.

For he did not think to show kindness,but pursued the afflicted, poor, and brokenheartedin order to put them to death.

He heals the brokenheartedand binds up their wounds.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
