'Cast down' in the Bible

And you, Capernaum, even to heaven will you be exalted? even to hades shall you be cast down.

being persecuted but not deserted, being cast down but not destroyed,

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall Babylon the great city be cast down, and shall be found no more.
