'Ceased' in the Bible
Moses went out from Pharaoh and the city, and extended his hands to the Lord. Then the thunder and hail ceased, and rain no longer poured down on the land.
When Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had ceased, he sinned again and hardened his heart, he and his officials.
And the day after they ate from the produce of the land, the manna ceased. Since there was no more manna for the Israelites, they ate from the crops of the land of Canaan that year.
Has His faithful love ceased forever?Is His promise at an end for all generations?
The joyful tambourines have ceased.The noise of the jubilant has stopped.The joyful lyre has ceased.
