'Consume' in the Bible

You will make them as [if in] a blazing oven in the time of your anger;The Lord will swallow them up in His wrath,And the fire will devour them.

But the wicked (ungodly) will perish,And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures and like the fat of lambs [that is consumed in smoke],They vanish—like smoke they vanish away.

Destroy them in wrath, destroy them so that they may be no more;Let them know that God rules over Jacob (Israel)To the ends of the earth. Selah.

Why do You withdraw Your hand, even Your right hand [from judging the enemy]?Remove Your hand from Your chest, destroy them!

For my days have vanished in smoke,And my bones have been scorched like a hearth.
