'Cords' in the Bible

"How terrible it will be for those who parade iniquity with cords of falsehood, who draw sin along as with a cart rope;

"Enlarge the location of your tent, let the curtains of your dwellings be stretched wide, and don't hold back. Lengthen your cords; strengthen your stakes.

Isn't this the fast that I have been choosing: to loose the bonds of injustice, and to untie the cords of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?
