'Criminals' in the Bible
Your hands were not bound, and your feet were not put into irons. You fell the way one falls before criminals." All the people wept over him again.
If a decision is not made, when my master the king is buried with his ancestors, my son Solomon and I will be considered state criminals."
They intended to bury him with criminals, but he ended up in a rich man's tomb, because he had committed no violent deeds, nor had he spoken deceitfully.
Two other criminals were also led away to be executed with him.
So when they came to the place that is called "The Skull," they crucified him there, along with the criminals, one on his right and one on his left.
One of the criminals who was hanging there railed at him, saying, "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
