'Crown' in the Bible
Woe to the majestic crown of Ephraim’s drunkards, and to the fading flower of its beautiful splendor, which is on the summit above the rich valley.Woe to those overcome with wine.
The majestic crown of Ephraim’s drunkardswill be trampled underfoot.
On that daythe Lord of Hosts will become a crown of beautyand a diadem of splendorto the remnant of His people,
to provide for those who mourn in Zion;to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lordto glorify Him.
You will be a glorious crown in the Lord’s hand, and a royal diadem in the palm of your God.
