'Descendants' in the Bible

He gives great deliverance to His king,And shows lovingkindness to His anointed,To David and his descendants forever.

Their offspring You will destroy from the earth,And their descendants from among the sons of men.

You who fear the Lord, praise Him;All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him,And stand in awe of Him, all you descendants of Israel.

His soul will abide in prosperity,And his descendants will inherit the land.

I have been young and now I am old,Yet I have not seen the righteous forsakenOr his descendants begging bread.

All day long he is gracious and lends,And his descendants are a blessing.

For the Lord loves justiceAnd does not forsake His godly ones;They are preserved forever,But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.

The descendants of His servants will inherit it,And those who love His name will dwell in it.

“So I will establish his descendants foreverAnd his throne as the days of heaven.

“His descendants shall endure foreverAnd his throne as the sun before Me.

“The children of Your servants will continue,And their descendants will be established before You.”

His descendants will be mighty on earth;The generation of the upright will be blessed.
